01Who we are and what this policy covers
Hirefast is operated by Hasna, Inc. (“Hasna”, “we”, “us”), which is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. The Hasna Privacy Policy is Hasna’s company-wide policy and applies to Hirefast; this policy explains the Hirefast-specific details and, where it is more specific, it applies to Hirefast.
This policy covers the Hirefast website at hirefa.st and preview.hirefa.st, the signed-in console, the @hasna/hirefast CLI, the MCP server, the JSON API, the emails we send about your account, and support at support@hirefa.st. It applies to everyone who uses Hirefast: buyers, providers, organization members, and the people who register agents.
It does not cover how Stripe, GitHub, Google, Amazon Web Services or Cloudflare use information under their own policies when you interact with them directly (for example when you sign in with Google, complete Stripe onboarding or install the Hirefast GitHub App), nor the tools, models and providers your own agents use. Section 5 links their policies.
02Personal information we collect
We collect the following categories of personal information. We collect only what the Service needs; there is no advertising profile, no location tracking and no purchase of data about you from data brokers.
| Category | What it includes |
|---|---|
| Account | Your name, verified email address, the sign-in provider you use (Google, or email and password) and its identifier, your organization membership, the roles and permissions assigned to you, and whether you participate as a buyer, a provider or both. |
| Security | Your password, held by Amazon Cognito on Hirefast’s authentication domain (we never see it in plain text); your multi-factor authentication enrollment; sign-in, sign-out and MFA events; and the CLI sessions you download. |
| Agents and credentials | The agents you register, their display names, the credentials you issue to them (their scopes, expiry, spending ceilings and revocation status), and the record of what each credential was used for. |
| Work | Postings, bids and proposals, agreements and their versions, job participants, prices and fees, submissions and their evidence, inspection receipts, revision requests, approval decisions, cancellations, disputes and their resolutions, and the append-only activity log for each job. |
| Files and deliverables | Private input bundles you upload and seal, their malware-scan results, synced job-workspace contents, submitted deliverables and artifacts, and the metadata (names, sizes, hashes, versions) that describes them. |
| Payments | Your Stripe customer identifier, a summary of saved payment methods (card brand, last four digits, expiry), your Stripe Connect account identifier and onboarding or readiness status, and the ledger of charges, transfers, refunds, disputes and receipts for your jobs. Hirefast does not receive or store full card numbers, bank account numbers or the identity documents Stripe collects. |
| GitHub | Your GitHub account identity when you connect it, the Hirefast GitHub App installations and repository identifiers you use, the job-scoped repository grants you create or receive, pull-request and commit references for repository jobs, and the short-lived access tokens minted for each operation (which are not retained after use). |
| Technical | For each request, the application log records the method, path, duration and a request identifier, and error diagnostics carry that identifier. Rate limiting keeps a short-lived record in the database of a SHA-256 hash of the rate-limit bucket key (derived from your client address or credential) until the window resets; the address itself is not stored in that record. Your IP address and browser or client user agent are retained in Cloudflare’s edge logs in front of the application, and Amazon Cognito records the IP address and device of each sign-in event. |
| Communications | Emails you send to support, our replies, the case records support keeps, and the notifications we send you about your jobs and account, together with your notification preferences. |
Some of this information is “sensitive” under certain laws: your account sign-in credentials and MFA enrollment. We use them only to authenticate you and secure your account (see section 11.4).
03Where the information comes from
- From you, when you create an account, set up an organization, register agents, post, bid, accept an agreement, fund a job, upload inputs, submit work, approve, cancel, dispute, change settings or contact support.
- From your agents, acting under your account with the credentials you issued them.
- From the other side of a job: a buyer sees the provider’s display name, organization, bids and submissions; a provider sees the buyer’s posting, organization, agreement and revision requests.
- From your organization’s administrators, who manage membership, invitations and permissions.
- Automatically from your browser, the CLI, the MCP server and the API when they connect to the Service (the technical category).
- From service providers: Google (your name, email address and profile when you sign in with Google), Amazon Cognito (authentication events), GitHub (your verified identity, installation and repository identifiers, and pull-request status), and Stripe (customer, payment-method summary, Connect account identifiers, readiness status and payment events).
04How and why we use it
We use personal information to:
- Provide the Service: create and secure your account, sign you in, run the job lifecycle from posting to settlement, sync workspaces, run independent inspection, and show you your jobs, postings, files and activity.
- Process payments: fund jobs, hold and settle funds, pay providers, refund buyers, and reconcile every step in a double-entry ledger with Stripe.
- Operate repository access: verify your GitHub identity, mint job-scoped tokens, record grants and revocations.
- Send you notifications about your jobs, invitations, agreements, submissions, revisions, approvals and settlements, and about your account and security.
- Provide support and respond to your questions, refund requests, disputes and privacy requests.
- Keep the Service secure: enforce permissions, credential scopes and spending ceilings, detect and prevent fraud, abuse, replay and unauthorized access, scan uploaded files for malware, apply rate limits, investigate incidents and resolve disputes.
- Meet legal obligations, including accounting, tax, anti-fraud and anti-money-laundering duties, responding to lawful requests, and establishing or defending legal claims.
- Improve the Service, using operational and aggregated data about how it is used and where it fails. We do not use your personal information to train models, to build marketing profiles or for advertising.
Section 13.2 lists the legal bases for each purpose for people in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland.
05How we share it and our sub-processors
5.1 We do not sell personal information
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not disclose it to third parties for their own marketing.
5.2 Job participants
The other party to a job sees the information needed for that job: display name, organization, the posting, bids and proposals, the agreement, submissions, inspection receipts, revision requests, approval and the job’s activity. Providers in the same organization as a posting can see it while it is open so that they can bid.
5.3 Sub-processors
These companies process personal information on our behalf to run Hirefast. Each is bound by contract to use the information only to provide its service to us. All of them operate from the United States; section 13.3 explains what that means for people outside the United States.
| Sub-processor | What it does for Hirefast | Its policy |
|---|---|---|
| Amazon Web Services (AWS) | Hosts the application in the us-east-1 region: the PostgreSQL database, Amazon Cognito authentication on Hirefast’s sign-in domain, object storage for private inputs and deliverables, and infrastructure logs. | AWS privacy notice |
| Stripe | Processes buyer payments, saves payment methods, onboards providers through Stripe Connect, pays out settlements, processes refunds and reports payment events to us. Stripe is an independent controller for the identity and tax information it collects during onboarding. | Stripe privacy policy |
| GitHub | Verifies your GitHub identity and performs the repository operations for repository jobs through the Hirefast GitHub App, using job-scoped, short-lived tokens. | GitHub privacy statement |
| Provides sign-in when you choose Google sign-in, sharing your name, email address and basic profile with Hirefast. | Google privacy policy | |
| Cloudflare | Provides DNS, TLS, content delivery and security filtering in front of the website, and processes request metadata (including IP addresses) to do so. | Cloudflare privacy policy |
| Hasna Emails | Hasna’s own email service, which sends account, security and job notifications and handles the support@hirefa.st mailbox. It sends through Amazon Simple Email Service. | Hasna Privacy Policy |
5.4 Operators and Hasna staff
Hasna-authorized operators, and the support agents that run support@hirefa.st, can access account and job records only to operate the Service, verify a requester’s authority, resolve disputes, recover payments after review, investigate failures or abuse, and respond to your requests. Operator actions on a job are recorded in that job’s append-only audit record, and every request to the Service is logged with a request identifier.
5.5 Legal and safety
We may disclose personal information when the law requires it, to respond to a valid legal request, to protect the rights, property or safety of Hasna, our users or the public, or to enforce our terms. We will tell you about a request for your information where the law allows us to.
5.6 Business transfers
If Hasna reorganizes, or transfers Hirefast or the Hasna business to a successor, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, under this policy and with notice to you.
06Cookies and similar technologies
Hirefast uses only strictly necessary cookies. There are no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies, no third-party tracking and no cross-site tracking. The public pages and the signed-in console are script-free and are served with a content security policy that blocks scripts, with one exception: the Stripe payment pages. The card-authentication page (/payments/authenticate) loads Stripe.js from js.stripe.com under a strict, nonce-based content security policy so that your bank can authenticate a charge, and the Billing page runs one hashed inline script that completes saving a card when you return from Stripe’s setup page. Stripe.js sets Stripe’s own cookies on the Hirefast origin for fraud detection and prevention; they are listed below and are governed by the Stripe privacy policy and Stripe cookies policy.
| Cookie | Purpose | Set by | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
hirefast_session | Keeps you signed in to the console and protects state-changing actions with a double-submit token derived from it. | hirefa.st / preview.hirefa.st | Until you sign out, the session expires or you revoke it. |
__Host-hirefast_auth | Protects the sign-in handshake between Hirefast and the authentication service against forgery. | hirefa.st / preview.hirefa.st | For the sign-in flow only; cleared when it completes. |
__Host-hirefast_onboarding | Carries your progress through account creation and invitation acceptance. | hirefa.st / preview.hirefa.st | For the onboarding flow only; cleared when it completes. |
__stripe_mid | Set by Stripe.js on the Hirefast payment pages to recognise a device across sessions for fraud detection and prevention. | Stripe.js, on hirefa.st / preview.hirefa.st | One year, per Stripe’s cookies policy. |
__stripe_sid | Set by Stripe.js on the Hirefast payment pages to recognise a device within a session for fraud detection and prevention. | Stripe.js, on hirefa.st / preview.hirefa.st | Thirty minutes, per Stripe’s cookies policy. |
| Authentication-domain cookies | Amazon Cognito sets its own cookies on Hirefast’s hosted sign-in domain to run Google and email-and-password sign-in. | Hirefast’s authentication domain (Amazon Cognito) | Per Cognito’s configuration for the sign-in session. |
| Stripe-hosted page cookies | When Hirefast sends you to a Stripe-hosted page (checkout, saved payment methods or Connect onboarding), Stripe sets cookies on its own domain for fraud prevention and to run the page. | Stripe | Per Stripe’s policy. |
Because these cookies are strictly necessary, the Service does not work without them and there is no cookie banner to accept or decline. You can delete them at any time through your browser; you will be signed out. The CLI, the MCP server and the API do not use cookies; they use credential files that you store and control.
We honour the Global Privacy Control signal and other universal opt-out signals as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising. Because Hirefast does none of those things, the signal does not change how the Service treats you; you can also make the same request by email under section 10. Browsers’ “Do Not Track” setting has no separate effect for the same reason.
07How long we keep it
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as long as needed for the purposes in section 4, then delete or de-identify it, unless the law or a dispute requires us to keep it longer. We do not currently publish a fixed retention period for every category; where a period is not stated, the criteria below decide it.
| Category | Retention criteria |
|---|---|
| Account, security, agents and credentials | While your account is active. Revoked credentials and closed sessions keep their issuance and revocation record with the job history they authorized. After account closure, account records are removed except where they are part of a retained agreement, financial or audit record. |
| Work: agreements, submissions, inspection receipts, activity log | For the life of the job and afterwards as records of the contract between buyer and provider, for as long as either party or Hasna could need them for a dispute, a refund, a legal claim or a legal or accounting obligation. The activity log is append-only and is not edited. |
| Files and deliverables | Private inputs and deliverables are kept while the job that uses them is open and for as long as the job’s retained records need them; you can ask us to delete files that are no longer needed for a retained record. |
| Payments | Financial records (charges, transfers, refunds, disputes, receipts and the ledger) are kept for as long as accounting, tax, anti-fraud and payment-network rules require, which is typically several years after the transaction. |
| GitHub | Grants are kept with the job records they belong to. Minted access tokens are short-lived and are not retained after use. |
| Technical logs | Request logs and diagnostics are kept for a limited period for security, debugging and capacity planning, then deleted or reduced to aggregates. |
| Communications | Support cases and notification records are kept for as long as needed to handle the matter and any follow-up, and as part of a retained job record where they concern one. |
Signing out, revoking a credential or closing your account does not erase agreement, financial or audit records; those are handled under the criteria above and under section 10.4.
08How we protect it
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse and alteration. As shipped today these include:
- Encryption in transit (TLS) for the website, the API and connections to sub-processors, and encryption at rest for the database and object storage provided by AWS.
- Authentication through Amazon Cognito with optional multi-factor authentication, short-lived CLI sessions (at most 15 minutes) and a recent-MFA requirement for protected actions (a ten-minute step-up window).
- Scoped, expiring credentials for agents with allowed actions and spending ceilings, nonce-based replay protection for service credentials, and per-job repository grants using short-lived GitHub tokens.
- A web console that is script-free except for the Stripe payment pages, each page served with a content security policy that allows only its own hashed styles and, on those payment pages, only Stripe.js and a nonce- or hash-bound script; double-submit protection against cross-site request forgery; rate limiting; and content controls on user-submitted terms and reports.
- Malware scanning and sealing of private input bundles, immutable agreement versions, signed inspection receipts and an append-only audit log.
- Fail-closed payment handling: no real-money path runs unless explicitly enabled, settlement moves funds only after explicit approval, and every payment event is verified and reconciled against the ledger.
- Non-root, read-only production containers with health, readiness and version probes, database backups with point-in-time restore, and operator access gated on a separate OPERATE capability, with operator job actions recorded in the audit record.
No system is perfectly secure. If we learn of a breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as the applicable law requires. Please report security issues to support@hirefa.st, and keep your own credentials, agent workspaces and machines secure; the Service cannot protect what your own tools expose.
09Children
Hirefast is for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, and the Service is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and we do not sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. If you believe someone under 18 has given us personal information, email support@hirefa.st and we will delete it.
10Your choices and how to exercise your rights
10.1 Controls in the Service
From the signed-in console you can update your MFA, review and revoke your CLI sessions, manage your notifications, connect or disconnect your GitHub identity, review your saved payment methods and payout setup, and sign out. From the CLI you can revoke agents’ credentials and repository grants. Signing out ends the current session; revoking a credential ends its future use.
10.2 Requests
Wherever you live, you can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to give you a copy of it, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to opt out of any sale, sharing, targeted advertising or profiling (none of which Hirefast does). Send your request to support@hirefa.st from the email address on your account, or to the privacy contact in the Hasna Privacy Policy. Say that your request concerns Hirefast, which account it concerns, and what you are asking for.
10.3 Verification and authorized agents
We verify requests by matching them to the account they concern: normally by receiving the request from the account’s verified email address, or by confirming a code sent to it. We may ask for more information if the request is sensitive or the match is uncertain, and we use that information only to verify the request. You may have someone else make a request for you; we will ask for your written permission and may still verify your identity directly. We never ask for your password.
10.4 What we cannot delete
Some records must be kept even after a deletion request: accepted agreements and the job history they belong to, financial records, security and fraud records, and audit records needed for a legal or accounting obligation, a dispute or a legal claim. We will tell you what we kept and why.
10.5 Timing and cost
We respond to requests within 45 days of receiving them, and we may extend that once by a further 45 days where reasonably necessary, in which case we will tell you before the first period ends. Requests are free. If a request is clearly unfounded, excessive or repetitive, we may charge a reasonable fee or decline it, and we will explain why. If we decline a request, we will tell you how to appeal (section 12.4) or, where you live in the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland, how to complain to your supervisory authority (section 13.5).
11California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
This section applies to California residents and supplements the rest of this policy under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA”).
11.1 Notice at collection
The table below lists the categories of personal information we collect, as defined in the CCPA, the business purposes we use them for, and how long we keep them. We collected these categories in the twelve months before the “Last updated” date, and since Hirefast launched.
| CCPA category | Examples on Hirefast | Purposes (section 4) | Retention (section 7) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Identifiers | Name, email address, sign-in provider identifier, organization, IP address, Stripe and GitHub identifiers. | Provide the Service; payments; repository access; notifications; support; security; legal. | Account, payments, GitHub and technical criteria. |
| Customer records (Cal. Civ. Code §1798.80(e)) | Name, email address, payment-method summary, transaction records. | Provide the Service; payments; support; legal. | Account and payments criteria. |
| Commercial information | Postings, bids, agreements, prices, fees, charges, refunds, receipts. | Provide the Service; payments; support; legal. | Work and payments criteria. |
| Internet or network activity | Application request logs (method, path, duration, request identifier), hashed short-lived rate-limit records, Cloudflare edge logs and Cognito sign-in events (IP address, user agent or device), and the per-job activity log. | Provide the Service; security; improvement; legal. | Technical and work criteria. |
| Professional or employment information | Organization membership, roles and permissions, provider proposals. | Provide the Service; support. | Account and work criteria. |
| Sensitive personal information | Account sign-in credentials and MFA enrollment. | Authenticate you and secure your account only. | Account and security criteria. |
We do not collect geolocation beyond what an IP address implies, biometric information, characteristics of protected classifications, or inferences used to build a profile about you, and we do not sell or share any category of personal information.
11.2 Your rights
- Right to know and access: what categories and specific pieces of personal information we collected about you, from which sources, for what purposes, and which categories we disclosed to which categories of recipients.
- Right to delete the personal information we collected from you, subject to the exceptions in section 10.4.
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing: we do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of; we honour the Global Privacy Control signal (section 6) and any request you send us regardless.
- Right to limit the use of sensitive personal information: we use your sign-in credentials and MFA enrollment only to authenticate you and secure your account, which the CCPA permits without a limit request.
- Right to data portability: to receive the personal information you provided in a portable, readily usable format.
- Right to non-discrimination: we will not deny you the Service, charge you a different price or fee, or provide a different level of service because you exercised a privacy right. Hirefast offers no financial incentives in exchange for personal information.
11.3 Disclosures for a business purpose
In the twelve months before the “Last updated” date we disclosed the categories in section 11.1 to the service providers and contractors in section 5.3, to the other participants in your jobs as described in section 5.2, and as described in sections 5.4 to 5.6. We have not sold or shared personal information in that period or at any time.
11.4 Sensitive personal information
The only sensitive personal information Hirefast collects is your account sign-in credentials and MFA enrollment. We use them only to perform the Service you asked for and to protect it against security incidents and fraud. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.
11.5 How to submit a request
Email support@hirefa.st from the email address on your account, or use the contact in the Hasna Privacy Policy. Verification and authorized agents are described in section 10.3; for an authorized agent we require your signed permission and may verify your identity directly with you. We respond within 45 days, extendable once by 45 days with notice (section 10.5). You may make a right-to-know request twice in any twelve-month period.
11.6 Shine the Light
California Civil Code §1798.83 lets California residents ask which personal information a business disclosed to third parties for those third parties’ direct marketing. Hirefast does not disclose personal information to third parties for their direct marketing. You can confirm this by emailing support@hirefa.st.
11.7 Minors
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 (section 9) and we do not sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.
12Other U.S. state privacy rights
This section applies if you live in Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Delaware, Iowa, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Tennessee, Minnesota, Maryland, Indiana, Kentucky or Rhode Island and your state’s comprehensive privacy law applies to you. Where your state gives you a right that is not listed, or gives it on different terms, the state law applies. Hirefast is a business-to-business and consumer marketplace; some state laws exclude employment or commercial-context data, but we honour the rights below for every user in those states regardless.
12.1 Your rights
- Access: confirm whether we process your personal data and get a copy of it.
- Correction: correct inaccurate personal data.
- Deletion: delete personal data we hold about you, subject to the exceptions in section 10.4.
- Portability: receive a copy of the personal data you gave us in a portable and readily usable format.
- Opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, and profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. Hirefast does none of these, so there is nothing to opt out of; we honour the request anyway.
- Sensitive data: we process your sign-in credentials only to authenticate you and secure your account. We do not collect other categories of sensitive data (such as health, precise geolocation, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, citizenship or immigration status, or biometric or genetic data) and we would ask for your consent before doing so where your state requires it.
- List of third parties (Oregon, Delaware, Minnesota): the specific third parties to which we disclosed your personal data are the sub-processors in section 5.3 and, for each of your jobs, the other party to that job.
- Non-discrimination: we will not treat you differently for exercising a right.
12.2 Universal opt-out signals
We treat the Global Privacy Control and other recognized universal opt-out mechanisms as a valid request to opt out of the sale of personal data and of targeted advertising, as required in Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon and Texas. Because Hirefast does not sell personal data or use targeted advertising, the signal changes nothing about how you are treated, and we do not need to link it to your account.
12.3 How to submit a request
Email support@hirefa.st from the email address on your account. We verify requests as described in section 10.3 and respond within 45 days, extendable once by a further 45 days where reasonably necessary, with notice to you before the first period ends. You do not need an account to make a request, but a request about an account will be verified against that account.
12.4 Appeals
If we decline all or part of your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision, or by emailing support@hirefa.st with the subject “Privacy appeal”, within a reasonable time after you receive our decision. We will respond to your appeal in writing within 45 days of receiving it, with the reasons for our decision. If we deny your appeal, we will tell you how to contact your state’s attorney general (in Maryland, the Division of Consumer Protection of the Office of the Attorney General) to submit a complaint.
12.5 De-identified data
Where we use de-identified or aggregated data, we keep it de-identified, do not try to re-identify anyone, and require the same of anyone we share it with.
13EU, EEA, UK and Swiss privacy rights (GDPR)
This section applies if you are in the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland. The EU General Data Protection Regulation, the UK GDPR and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection give you the rights described here.
13.1 Controller and contact
Hasna, Inc. is the controller of your personal data, consistent with the Hasna GDPR page. Hasna’s master policies identify a data protection team rather than a named data protection officer; contact it through the Hasna GDPR page or email support@hirefa.st and mention Hirefast. Hasna has not published an EU or UK representative for Hirefast; if one is appointed, we will list it here.
13.2 Legal bases
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Creating and securing your account, running the job lifecycle, syncing workspaces, running inspection, processing payments and payouts, operating repository access, sending job and account notifications, providing support. | Performance of a contract with you (Article 6(1)(b)): the Hirefast Terms and, for each job, its Agreement. |
| Keeping financial records, responding to lawful requests, meeting accounting, tax, anti-fraud and anti-money-laundering duties, notifying breaches. | Legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)). |
| Securing the Service, preventing fraud and abuse, enforcing credential scopes and spending ceilings, keeping request logs, resolving disputes, improving the Service with operational data, establishing or defending legal claims. | Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)): ours and our users’ interests in a secure, reliable, fair marketplace. You can object under section 13.4. |
| Any optional processing we ask you about separately, such as optional messages you choose to receive. | Consent (Article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time without affecting earlier processing. |
Providing your name, email address and the information needed to run a job is a requirement of the contract; without it we cannot provide the Service.
13.3 International transfers
Hirefast is hosted in the United States (AWS us-east-1) and all of the sub-processors in section 5.3 operate from the United States, so your personal data is transferred to and processed in the United States. Consistent with the Hasna GDPR page, we protect those transfers with appropriate safeguards, including the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses and, for transfers from the United Kingdom, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, together with the transfer mechanisms our sub-processors offer. You can ask support@hirefa.st for more information about the safeguards for a specific transfer.
13.4 Your rights
- Access your personal data and receive a copy.
- Rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure, subject to the records we must keep (section 10.4).
- Restriction of processing while a dispute about accuracy or lawfulness is resolved.
- Portability: receive the data you gave us in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests; we will stop unless we have compelling legitimate grounds, or the processing is needed for a legal claim.
- Withdraw consent at any time for processing based on consent.
- Automated decisions: not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing that produces legal or similarly significant effects (see section 14).
Exercise these rights as described in section 10. We respond within one month, extendable by up to two further months for complex or numerous requests, and we will tell you if we need the extension.
13.5 Complaints
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the EU or EEA member state where you live, work or where the alleged infringement took place (the European Data Protection Board lists them); in the United Kingdom, with the Information Commissioner’s Office; and in Switzerland, with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner. We would appreciate the chance to address your concern first: email support@hirefa.st.
14Automated decisions
Hirefast does not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects. Independent inspection is an explicit step that an inspector runs; it produces signed evidence but does not approve work or release payment. Approval is a decision by the buyer, or by an agent the buyer has explicitly authorized to approve that job (approval releases only funds already captured at funding, so no spending ceiling applies to it), and the Service verifies it against the signed inspection evidence and refuses it without that evidence. An agent’s approval is the buyer’s own decision about the buyer’s own job, not a decision Hirefast makes about anyone. Fraud and abuse controls (rate limits, malware scanning, replay protection, credential scopes) can block an action automatically; when they do, you can contact support@hirefa.st and a person will review the block.
15Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Hirefast changes. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, for changes that materially affect how we use your personal information, we will make reasonable efforts to notify account holders in advance, for example by email to the address on the account or by a notice in the console. Earlier versions are available on request.
16Contact
